April Review 06

News —
On April 10th Bring Me Hope met with the director of CCAA, Mr. Lu, who is in charge of ALL the orphans in China.  The opportunity we had to share with Mr. Lu about our camp in China will help open more doors for us to work with China's orphans.

New Staff—
We are very excited to present our first full time volunteer, Anna Yoder. After the summer camps are finished, Anna will remain in China and continue to help our li’l campers.

A note from David

The Bring Me Hope story continues to develop in the most amazing way.  New Olympic athletes endorsing the camp, a new friendship with the head of CCAA, and we just found out that our camp is going to be featured on the front of Adoption Today.  But in all the excitement it still comes down to one simple thing.  One person loving one orphan.  All the endorsements, meetings, and articles are great, but it does not meet the orphan's need for love.  It might provide the opportunity to love them but it doesn't directly love the kids.  As Mother Teresa said, "We can do no great things- only small things with great love."
